The Women's Poker Network.com announced today that they will sponsor a Women's Poker Cruise to Alaska in August, 2005. The Cruise will be hosted by Card Player Cruises. In addition to all the related cruise activities there will be a full scale Poker Room available aboard ship including a special Women's Tournament Event. The Women's Poker Network has been established to provide information, education, and opportunity for women interested in getting more involved in organized Poker. This Cruise Event is slated to be an annual event for the group with various opportunities to win the Cruise Package at the Poker table through both Online and Land Based satellites.

Currently there are Online Satellites available.The Women's Poker Network will work to bring Women's Poker Events throughout the year in various parts of the nation in an effort to give women the chance to get out and compete in live action Tournament Events. Currently the schedule includes April 2&3, 2005 at the Reno Hilton, and May 3&4, 2005 at the Oasis Resort/Casino in Mesquite, Nevada.
Both these tournaments will include Poker Instruction and Seminars led by Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher from Card Player Magazine and the World Poker Tour.
